Merchant Onboarding Terms

Blue Whale Solutions (SMC-Private) Limited offers a secure and streamlined onboarding process for merchants integrating our payment gateway and API services. The following terms outline the eligibility criteria, required documentation, technical integration guidelines, and operational compliance requirements.

1. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for onboarding with Blue Whale Solutions, merchants must:

  • Be a registered business with the SECP or possess valid sole proprietorship documentation.

  • Hold a valid CNIC of the authorized signatory.

  • Maintain a bank account titled in the business name.

  • Offer legal goods or services in accordance with Pakistani law.

  • Not operate in restricted sectors such as gambling, narcotics, unregulated forex, or adult content.

2. Required Documentation

Merchants are required to submit the following documents during the onboarding process:

  • SECP registration certificate or valid business proof.

  • CNIC of the director or business owner.

  • Bank account maintenance certificate (same-title).

  • Official letterhead for communication.

  • Utility bill or tenancy agreement (for address verification).

  • Sample product/service listing or website URL.

Blue Whale Solutions may request additional documentation depending on the business model or risk category.

3. Technical Integration Guidelines

  • API credentials, sandbox keys, and documentation will be shared upon approval.

  • Integration must follow Blue Whale Solutions’ token and webhook standards.

  • API keys must be stored securely; unauthorized sharing may lead to account suspension.

  • Integration is expected to be completed within 14 days, unless otherwise approved.

4. Operational Responsibilities

  • Merchants are responsible for customer service, order management, and refund policies.

  • Merchant operational and refund policies must align with Blue Whale Solutions’ platform standards.

  • Blue Whale Solutions reserves the right to audit merchant activities to ensure quality, compliance, and risk control.

  • Settlement terms (e.g., T+1 working day) will be mutually agreed upon during onboarding.

5. Suspension and Termination

Merchant access to the platform may be suspended or terminated under any of the following conditions:

  • Evidence of fraudulent activity, illegal operations, or misuse of the platform.

  • High dispute or chargeback ratios.

  • Failure to maintain updated KYC documentation.

  • Breach of integration or operational terms.

  • Regulatory or legal directives requiring suspension.

These terms are subject to periodic updates, and all revisions will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
